WEEK 16 BUMPDATE

How far along? 16 weeks, 3 days (23 more weeks to go)

Size of baby: An Avocado (4-5 inches; 3-5 oz)

Weight gain: About 9 pounds

Maternity clothes: Finally had to bite the bullet and buy some.  First of all, why are they SO ugly?! Next, why are they SO expensive?! Oy.

Stretch marks: So far, so good. Fingers crossed!

Symptoms: Major fatigue.  People keep saying I'll start to feel energetic in my 2nd trimester, but I'm still waiting on that to happen. I've also noticed some minor backaches, occasional abdominal pain and some newly added dizziness. Oh the joys (but worth it in the long run!)

Cravings: CHOCOLATE!

Gender: Boy

Mood: Tired (see above, symptoms)

Nursery: Still in the daydreaming phase.

Movement: Not yet (that I know of). Sometimes when I'm laying in bed at night I *think* I may feel something, but it may just be my stomach, or the other million things going on in my body at the moment.

Sleep: Like a baby!

Workouts: Walking and slowly trying to ease back into the gym. I'm planning on taking up pre-natal yoga.

What I miss: My normal clothes and shopping for said clothes...

Belly button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Anything making you queasy or sick? Luckily, no.

Best moment this week: Seeing him move so much and suck on his thumb during the ultrasound!

Labor signs? Nope

Looking forward to: Getting my energy back and feeling baby's movement.

  2. Congrats again! You're baby bump is adorable...A YouTuber I follow, Glow of Grace, talks about http://www.pinkblushmaternity.com for fashionable and affordable maternity clothes. Since I'm not in need of clothes like this, I can't attest to their quality from personal experience, but Rachel from Glow of Grace always looks super cute in her videos.

    Hope all is well!
